ANZAC DAY TURKEY TOUR PLUS BLUE CRUISE  ITINERARY
Day 01 – 22nd April Welcome to Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul, where you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Please note check-in times vary between hotels but are normally no earlier than noon you have the rest of the day free to explore Istanbul and you will meet your guide later that evening who will give you information about the tour and answer any questions you might have. Overnight Stay in Istanbul.

Day 02 – 23rd April Istanbul Full day Classic Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, you begin a full-day sightseeing tour of Istanbul. Highlights include a visit to the illustrious Topkapi Palace, the ancient Roman Hippodrome (site of chariot races), and the Hagia Sophia, the Byzantine church that was converted to a mosque in the 15th century. After lunch, we will take a look at how Turkish carpets are made by hand. You will also visit the famed “Blue Mosque” and the Grand Bazaar, the world’s largest covered bazaar, where you’ll have free time to discover some of the nearly 4,000 tiny shops that line its maze of passageways. 
Tonight doesn’t miss the optional Turkish Folklore evening. Overnight Istanbul

Day 03 – 24th April Gallipoli battlefields
Early morning we depart for the Gallipoli peninsula where we will enjoy a BBQ lunch at Kabatepe before a short orientation tour of the WW1 battlefields of Gallipoli, visiting Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, and ANZAC Cove if accessible. After the tour, we head straight to the site of the dawn service to get a good spot for the long night ahead. Overnight ANZAC Cove (B)
Don’t forget your sleeping bags, warm clothes, wet weather gear, and torches because Gallipoli is still as dark and as cold today as it was in 1915 when our ancestors landed. Please bring your hat, sunscreen, and good walking shoes.

Day 04 – 25th April ANZAC Day Commemorations in Gallipoli
Awake before sunrise to the ANZAC Dawn Service. We become aware of the almost deafening silence as we commemorate our fallen forefathers on this special day. We attend the Australian &/or New Zealand Memorial services before a late afternoon drive to Ayvalik for overnight stay (Lunch Box, D)

Day 05 – 26th April Acropolis of Pergamum
Leaving Ayvalik we drive to the south towards Bergama for a fully guided tour of Pergamon, once the home of the Royal family and the founder of modern medicine. Tonight we arrive in Kusadasi. Overnight stay Kusadasi. 

Day 06 – 27th April Ancient Ephesus Full Day Tour Kusadasi
Today we have a fully guided tour of ancient Ephesus – to visit the Temple of Artemis (Diana) Isa Bey Mosque ancient Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Turkey. Turkey produces some of the finest leather goods in the world and after Ephesus, we go-to leather goods display… Overnight Kusadasi. 

Day 07 – 28th April Pamukkale, Hierapolis Fethiye
Leaving the coast we drive east for the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castles). You also visit the ruins of Hierapolis, an ancient health spa, just above the calcium terraces. Drive to Fethiye for overnight Stay 

Day 08 – 29th Fethiye to Olympos Gulet Cruise
Leave Fethiye harbor around 10.30 am, destined for Samanlik Bay for swimming & lunch. Butterfly Valley for sunbathing, swimming, and an optional hike up to the waterfall Oludeniz Europe’s most stunning beach & one of the best spots in the world for paragliding. Swim to the beach and there is also the option to paraglide. Anchor at St. Nicholas Island for the night. Optional walk up through the Island’s ruins to witness the spectacular sunset. 

DAY 09 – 30th April on Board
Depart to Gullet to Kalkan (Aquarium Bay) for breakfast relaxations and swimming, keep sail to Kas harbor, for lunch. Free Time to discover this small Turkish town for shopping and the internet. Take departure to sail a secluded bay near Kekova Island for the night stay.

DAY 10 – 01 May on Board
Another enjoyable day waiting for you, Sunken City's very amazing sail over the ancient ruins will affect you very much. Proceed to Simena Castle – walk up to the top & witness a magical view over the Bay taking in the underwater Lycian Tombs and across to the Sunken City. Gokkaya Bay for the night, it’s time for dancing, having fun at the nearby Island disco where you can meet up with the other cruising travelers for a night under the thousands of stars, or simply relaxes back and chills out on your yacht. 

DAY 11 – 02 May Disembark and Olympos
Breakfast, we continue to Pirates Cave for snorkeling, lunch at Andriace harbor disembarkation. Drive to Olympos for Overnight Stay (B, L)

DAY 12 – 03 May Olympos - Antalya
Transfer to Antalya airport for the flight back to Istanbul. 

Transfer to Antalya airport for the flight back to Istanbul. You can add on Istanbul or Cappadocia extension. End of Anzac day Turkey Tour.

Important Notice:
Please bring a day pack for carrying things with you overnight at Anzac Cove and the next day in Gallipoli as once you put your main luggage on the coach on the morning of the 24th in Istanbul you will not have, chance to access it again until arriving back in Istanbul on the evening of the 25th. Your main luggage will be securely locked away in the coach overnight. Please also note that the weather in Anzac Cove overnight can get very cold, so we suggest you bring sleeping bags, blankets, and warm clothing for this stay, and even a wet weather jacket in the event that it rains.
