Ephesus
The ruins of Ephesus are some of the best-preserved in the world today, offering an intriguing insight into the lives of those who once lived here. Your guide will escort you around its highlights, including the Odeon, the Temple of Hadrian, and the impressive Celsius Library - one of the most photographed buildings within Ephesus. You will also visit the Great Theater which could once hold up to 25,000 people and is still used for concerts today.
Temple of Artemis
The Temple of Artemis was built in the Hellenistic Age by the Lycian King, Kreisos, and is listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Today the ruins of its marble columns are scattered through the surrounding swampland, but still, reflect its former glory.
NOTE!
Do not miss a chance to visit the Terrace Houses section which is located inside the Ancient City of Ephesus and has an extra entrance fee per person. It's the oldest building, "The houses of the rich Romans", dates back to the 1st century BC and exhibits beautiful mosaics and frescoes, as well as ornate tiling and private hammam baths. Please be aware that in this section there are over 100 stairs so we do not recommend it for people with physical disabilities. It takes a minimum of 30 minutes to visit.
